ROYAL JELLY Fresh Grandfather Felix. 25gr.
From the third day, the worker larvae are fed with a porridge of honey, pollen and water, while the queen receives royal jelly throughout her existence and that explains why the queens are much larger than the workers, they live 10 -12 times longer and are fertile. Thanks to the feeding with royal jelly , the larva increases 1500 times its size until its complete evolution to queen (and this happens in only 16 days). Feeding royal jelly is the only reason that the queen is fertile throughout her life , while the workers are sterile and live only 30 to 90 days. Thanks to the jelly the mother bee is able to live 6 years. When the queen is born, her reproductive organs are developed, and she procreates intensively throughout her life (2000-3000 eggs daily).
